Our best rate promise
For our clients willing to book directly through our reservation department by any means whatsoever (telephone, email, online booking), we commit to making them benefit from the best available rates, including special offers : therefore, we guarantee the most interesting rates available on the market for direct bookings.
This guarantee applies on the rates and offers that are still valid on the reservation date. It doesn't take effect anymore for rates or offers that would have expired at this date, or for the ones that would occur after the reservation date.
Rates: taxes and variability
Our rates include all taxes and amongst others, a 2.10% VAT rate for accommodation, a 10% rate for food and drinks, and another 20% rate for the other services. Local city tax, which amounts to €1.20 per person per day in 2017, is not included in our rates.
Our rates may be modified at any moment without prior notice. Given the recently observed variability of French VAT rates, our rates may be slightly changed according to the effective applicable rates.
Guarantee deposit ("Arrhes")
The effective payment of a guarantee deposit (French legal definition: « Arrhes ») is required in order to confirm any reservation. The deposit represents 30% of the total amount of your stay, payable by credit card, bank wire of French banking check. The deposit amount will be deducted from your total due payable upon check-out.
According to French Law (art. 1590 Code Civil), guarantee deposits defined as "Arrhes" are strictly non-refundable.
A reservation will be deemed confirmed and guaranteed only once a guarantee deposit has been received by the hotel (general case, see above), or when a prepayment (full or partial) has been received.
Booking modification, Cancellation and Early departure
Unless elsewhere specified, modifications are possible upon request. They are subject to availabilities and conditioned to a modified stay amount equal or superior to the initial reservation amount.
Cancellation of a reservation for which a 30% guarantee deposit has been paid (general case, see above):
a cancellation fee is due. Its amount is equal to the guarantee deposit.
For other types of reservations, including prepaid stays, a cancellation fee does apply as follows:
- 22 days or before planned arrival date (15.00h local time): 30% of the total reservation amount,
- Between 21 and 8 days included : 70% of the total reservation amount,
- 7 days or less before planned arrival date, including no-shows: 100% of the reservation amount.
For early departures, occurring before the planned checkout date, the total amount of the initially-planned stay will remain due to the hotel.
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in: we do our best to make rooms available as early as possible; however, we cannot guarantee room check-in before 3PM.
According to Law and generally accepted practices, check-in is subject to the presentation of valid ID and Credit Card.
Check-out: rooms must be vacated by Noon.
Lodging rates are expressed per day and per room, for a double or single occupancy.
Maximum room occupancy is 2 persons aged 4 and more, plus 1 baby cot (0-3 years old included).
Maximum suite occupancy is 3 adults (aged 11 and more), or 2 adults and 2 children (4-10 years old included).
Baby cots and supplementary beds are subject to an extra charge, as detailed in our rates list.
Pets are admitted only upon request, provided their weight is under 10kgs. According to Law, pets cannot access to the hotel's dining rooms and swimming pool. They must remain under the effective control of their owner at all times. Their admission is subject to an extra charge, as detailed in our rates list.
Damages & Missing items
Damages and missing items resulting from a guest's deliberate action or gross negligence may be charged without prior notice. An invoice detailing the expenses incurred will be sent to the responsible guest.
