Musée Fesch - Palais des Beaux-Arts

Palais Fesch - Musée des Beaux Arts, is home to one of the most beautiful European collections of Italian primitive and Renaissance paintings, amongst others.



The Maison Bonaparte, birthplace of French Emperor Napoleon I, houses an important collection of personal possessions, furniture and historical documents belonging to the emperor.



The Fesch Museum offers guided group tours. We can also arrange an individual tour of one or both of these museums with a certified interpreter.



The Lazaret Ollandini is another place of great cultural importance in Ajaccio; it features the Marc Petit Museum (a permanent exhibition of painting collections from the Corsican school) as well as high-level cultural events.

Régates Impériales dans le Golfe d'Ajaccio  

For classic yachting enthusiasts, the Gulf of Ajaccio is the stage for the Imperial Regates which open the official European circuit for traditional sailing races every spring in May. You can also admire these magnificent ships as they sail past the hotel, and we can even book you places on board.



Each June, the Lazaret Ollandini hosts the Ajaccio Jazz Festival  - with a high quality line-up as well as meetings and conferences throughout the year.



Other notable events on the local cultural agenda are the Summer Polyphonies (concerts from June to September) the Art & Passion Cinema Festival (independent European movies - October) and the Ajaccio Italian Film Festival (October).
